Looks like a nice Indian head cent but can't make out the date. 1900?

No idea, but looks really cool and has some bolts on it; I would find way to hang it up.

Agree. No question it is music related. Maybe part of a tabletop music stand/easel or possibly part of a record album rack.

The design says early 20th C up to the 1940's.

It's a cool piece. I wish we could see the whole thing...

Quite possibly a part from an oil lamp holder.
