Neighboring Towns

Hit a few small towns (3) that are 30 miles total trip length. Two banks had between $10-$30 and one had $120 in halves. I was stoked when I found a 1969 in the $10 roll.

Then I hit $118/$120 all 1976's. Would have been disappointed except the first roll had 21 halves, and the 3rd had a silver 1976 S. I think I recognized one of the normal coins (had a hole) as one I released into the wild (spent). Maybe it caused this preson to remember the rest and bring in their collecton.

Also found one roll that was obviously from new bags. All very nice looking coins and 3 2005's.

So, I didn't do to bad, and cleared out a few areas I hadn't checked before. Maybe I can build a barren zone between myself and all you other CRH's. Kind of like a fire break.

I have found that rolls of all 76's are a good indicator of a collection and have found those rolls mixed in with full rolls of silver when bank hunting. I will go back and buy out the vault if I find a roll of those among the 1st $100 I normally buy as a dump test.

I cleaned them out. They only had $120 worth, almost all 1976's. Not even any errors to look for.

Nice job Sheldius. I like those mini road trips. You just never know until you get out there and do it....

Thanks, I always pleased when I profit like that. Found $1 outside the bank on the way to pick up my boxes today. That's even better.

You should get out into the country side. That's were the bucks are. Don't forget all the small town banks along the way. Just keep it North of the border buddy.
