Something, comes up to interfer

We have HAD!
15- 1/2 grown chickens, in an outside enclosed pen!
But, the other morning, "Hanna" went out to check on them
And!
There were! "7" dead!
AND!
TWO! Inside of a 7' long SNAKE!
SO!
I, now! have to go along and reseal the bottom/sides,
I have large concrete cylinders ,
'bout, 6" by 12", along bottom edges
And!
DOUBLE "Chicken wire", Up, along the sides!
BUT!
"HE" (?) Still got in!

I'm guessin' you can't eat the dead chickens now......ever think about eatin' snake? I hear snake is Um-Um-Good!

Actually, Here in the Town, where I live,
They have Rattlesnake Races every March
"U" can buy Rattlesnake sandwichs or on a "stick"
I have never tried either one!

The other day, in our side yard, I rescued a baby rabbit from a snake
Who had eyes on it, for dinner! & was about about a foot away from eating it
Bugs! Got the snake
I GOT ! The bunny !
"He"? The bunny rabbit, is about the size of your "Thumb"
But!
"HE" is doing well!
Eating (Drinking)condensed milk, mixed with kitten milk
I swear, I don't know where he puts it all!

A long time ago, I found a starling that had fell out of it's nest, and actually raised it to maturity by feeding it moistened dog food. There are a rather intellegent bird, you see them hopping along on a lawn, then stop, stick their beak under a stone, then open it to flip over the stone, and feed on the insects under it. My bird use to land on my shoulder and holler like mad when it was hungry, and sometimes stick its beak in my ear and try to open it. After having raised that one, I found another one later, and realizing just how tough it is to raise them, I simply put it back in the nest, and watched to see what would happen, because there are some people who say you can't put a bird back in the nest. Well, to make a long story short, those people are dead wrong, the parents came back and fed it like nothing had happened.
