Needs some help aging

Found this today looks like it belongs on a cane or walking stick little over an inch wide and about three quarters of an inch wide. Looking for age and what it was on i know it is a souvenier. Says. Prospect point. Niagara

I have to agree with creskol, the eBay ad looks very similar to your badge.

At first I was thinking it might be a bicycle head badge.

But it does look a lot like a c1890s SOUVENIR NIAGARA FALLS PROSPECT POINT PIN CUSHION BADGE.
