But I think it is quartz crystal rough rock with lead spects. How and where did you come about the sample?

I came across an old house that had many interesting rocks in the yard. Someone must have been a rockhound. I have more but just posting one at a time

I guess it might be important to know that house is in NCentral Kansas

I say it's just a piece of rough quartz, we see often in mineral rich gold bearing areas.

I'm thinking it's "gypsum" maybe from Kansas Gypsum Quarries, Mines and Mills in Barber County, Kansas
