I found this bottle at an old women's college that ceased existence in 1945 so I'm sure this bottle pre-dates 1945.
The site is being bulldozed and pushed up bottles, etc.
It's a cork stopper ceramic.
Any information or possible age on this?
Thanks!

The colour and style of your bottle, possibly for 'toilet water', looks similar to items produced in the 1940's by McCoy Pottery. :icon_scratch:
McCoy tended to stamp their wares on the bottom though, maybe this is a commercial piece they produced?

"Eau de toilette (French) literally translated as ‘toilet water’ (but more appropriately described as "grooming water") is a lightly scented cologne used as a skin freshener. It is also referred to as "aromatic waters" and has a high alcohol content. It is usually applied directly to the skin after bathing or shaving. It was originally composed of alcohol and various volatile oils. Traditionally these products were named after a principal ingredient; some being geranium water, lavender water, lilac water, violet water, spirit of myrcia and 'eau de Bretfeld'. Because of this, eau de toilette was sometimes referred to as "toilet water". In modern perfumery, the term eau de toilette is generally used to describe the concentration of fragrance, with eau de toilette being weaker than Eau de Parfum but stronger than Eau de Cologne.

McCoy is a brand of pottery that was produced in the United States in the early 20th century. It is probably the most collected pottery in the nation.
Starting in 1848 by J.W. McCoy Stoneware company, they established the Nelson McCoy Sanitary Stoneware Company in 1910."
Founded in Roseville, Ohio (April 1910)
Headquartered in Zanesville, Ohio

Here's an example of one of their vases from the 1940s
