need something id'd.. Got pics...

I didn't take a pic of it. but it's a old medal or medallion with a eagle on top with two crossed American flags. has a wreath around it and says, "welcome home Raleigh" on it. I can get a pic later of it. it also has two small holes on top that looks like a ribbon may have attached to it to hang around he neck. any ideas guys?? thanks, David

went to my friends and got pics. after looking at it, I think it's a ship in the center called the U.S.S. Raleigh. and my friends not the sharpest knife in the kitchen. it had a small bend in it when he dug it and he made it worse by straighting it out..lol.

I could only think it has something to do with Raleigh,N.C. maybe??

You should take a picture of it and post it in the "What Is It? forum. Be sure to provide something like a ruler or a coin to provide size reference.
