Hello All. You gotta love tokens, I found this one yesterday at some c1920 home sites, all long gone now.

I cannot find anything listed for this token or for "S. L. Campbell". I am thinking maybe it is company scrip for a turpentine or lumber operation.

Nice token! Sherman Lincoln Campbell, 1867-1940, was a railroad tie contractor ca. 1920. He probably had a movable sawmill operation that was large enough to justify a "company store" or commissary where these tokens were used. He lived in Colon, but the tie camps were elsewhere in the area. Would you be willing to post your pics on tokencatalog.com? Or give permission to have me do it?
