Went detecting today with my dad at an old home site, we managed to recover a few good relics today but there's a few items that have us stumped. The first item is a button of some sort, it has an anchor with a rope around it on the front. It's a little smaller than a dime, which makes me think it's a cuff button of some sort. The next item is pure lead and is round like a pipe.

I noticed your button doesn't look to have a loop? which I think makes it a press stud fitting. The lead item:dontknow: we find a lot like that over here, and I have no idea what it might have been used for.

PoohBang - Vintage Gear for Guys: EARLY TO RISE LA HORSEHIDE VINTAGE COPPER RIVET BELTS
It firmly settles any question about the star-or-anchor marked rivets' manufacturer, and their purpose. (The original antique box is factory-labeled "belt rivets.") I did a websearch for the maker's name, Plume & Atwood Manufacturing Company, which led to solid documentation that it was in business from 1869 into the late-1950s/early-1960s.
