Need some feedback regarding the GTP 1350

I understand how useful the Graphic Target Profile can be, especially if the target is big and turns out to be a crushed can. But how accurate is it when we get to smaller targets. A smaller target suggest a coin? Will it suggest with any accuracy if the smaller target is a pull tab as opposed to a coin? I've dug far too many of them already with My ace250 and my MXT.

Second question: how useful is this feature when in the Relic Mode?

You can't tell between a pulltab and a coin..Small is a target 11/2" or less.. Medium 11/2" - 4".. Large 4" and greater..Pulltabs read higher than nickles on it.. When I pinpoint and the depth is under 3" I don't bother as its usually a pulltab.. Hope that helps...

I have dug so many pull tabs with my ace its not funny I get 20 pull tabs to every nickle I pull out. The old round pull tabs are the only ones that show up as pull tabs on the ace. Now on the 1350 with the target size I know that if it reads a quarter but it shows a large target its not a quarter. Me being who I am has to dig it anyway just to make sure what it is and my reponse is almost always yep its junk.

Does that mean it can tell between pulltabs and gold as well?Since a nickel and gold has the same tone usually, very intrested!!! ::)RD

Thanks for all your responses (I sent some private mail to a couple of you).
So I just have to wonder if a persons money would be better spent on some other machine? What else can the GTP do that makes it worth getting?
