Need some Advice

There is a nice old gentleman that i met 6 months ago at the county fairgrounds great guy he has been detecting for over 30 years gives good advice.He just got a minelab etrac.The other day when i saw him he said i could get his atp he has taken excellent care of it he said he would take my ace 250 and money.So he told me to think it over.How much money should i offer him?The ace 250 is good but i have been dying to get an atp.When i get a new md i always ask here. Everybodies input is always good.
