This 8-real was issued in two types; the armored bust (the one you have and the one Diggin the Past referenced) (1808-1811) and the draped bust (1811-1821). The "TH" assayer's initials appeared only on the 1808, 1809 and 1810 issues. Several years ago, the retail value was $40, $55, $65 and $100 (FG, F, VF, and Ex F, respectively).
