Need Info on my BH

Hello, Have been reading for a while now and nobody has mentioned the Bounty Hunter I have. In November while shopping for the family came upon the BH display at Bass Pro and bought one. The name is Prospector DX, is this just a Bass Pro name and does it have another. There is so much information here that would help a newbie like me is this machine the same as another name. Thanks

Bounty Hunter has a website , www.detecting.com Off the top of my head I think that is the site . You should get some useful info over there . Hope this helps . HH

I believe the Prospector is the same unit as the Tracker IV,just a different housing.

The Prospector DX is a repackaged Sharp Shooter, which is not a bad machine.

Thanks for the info. Getting a little better with it and believe its just a matter of time. The last time out found 12 items of junk and this is good meaning at least starting to understand how these work.
