Can someone help me identify this beauty? I found it on a river in Greece, the mountains around are peridotites and limestones.

Any tips on how to make it better and how to clean it?

Thx in advance

If you're looking to clean it better and bring out those colors just use SIO "Super Iron Out", I used to use nasty acids but have switched over to SIO. Polishing that beauty would be best though. Another option is if it's for home decoration or personal collection, not to ever be resold just clean it in SIO then spray coat it in rustoleum gloss×2 uv protection, it will keep the wet look and it works pretty good, I've have some I've coated 2years ago and it still looks like I coated it yesterday. Sorry I can't help with identifying your specimen but it is a sweet find, congrats! :icon_thumleft:

that is a friggin awesome agate...looks like the agates coming out of the Ankara, Turkey region.

This rock is probably worth 20-30/lb to a lapidary. Maybe some adjacent jasper in there too which would make it a "jaspagate" I guess lol...all I know is I want it

Thank you for the answers. Anyone knows what is the 3rd grey brown surface? It is not so hard . Is there more agate underneath and how to take it off better ? Too many questions, I am new to this
I find some jaspers here but this one is really unique.
