The first one looks like the fork that keeps a "throw out bearing" in allignment with a clutch. The second one? Monty

The second one almost looks like an old coke bottle opener. Hard to tell with not be able to see a size reference or how thick it is.

They look like old wooden boat pieces to me.

Could item #2 be a tie down loop from a wagon?

Can we see pics of back, better size ref. and what type of metal are they made of? They look like trim pieces from car.

I'm with Monty on the first pic...and maybe a trim piece of the same piece of equipment is what the second one is...

I just read the post about these items coming from a CW hospital site. There were a number of types of ambulance wagons used in the CW. They all had unusual fixtures and fittings on them. I can't find any pictures good enough to see detail, but I'll stand by my guess that the brass piece is some type of tie-down loop.

On first pic, I thought about clutch fork too but couldnt find a match online. Could we see the back?

The second pic is some kind of hook up similar in shape to a suspender or garter hook on. The two screws obviousy mount to something solid. But a hook on for what, I dont know. As someone stated before, we need better size reference (added: I think i see a paper towel roll now) and the metal composition. (brass, aluminum, steel, what? ???)

looks like a piece of a grill from the front end of a mid 60 era car. second guess with out seeing the other side would be a fancy hinge.....and its a little small for a boot remover(kind of like a fork slide around the heal, put foot on the fork and pull the other foot out of the boot)
