They arn't British.That isn't our crown. Maybe Eastern Bloc or some such. (my opinion...i'm no expert though.)

Polish Army uniform buttons? Polish buttons had the crown removed during the Soviet Occupation Period. most were British and French made,.

I will call these buttons Polish..But am still looking for a good British button site.
I have several hundred of all typess, Mostly british. None of the british sites post clear scans or photographs.

generally we don't care, the most are buttons go for are $10, yours go for $1000's, so there is your reason. Most get junked.

Really, I am more interested in ID. The money part means next to nothing. I give away more than I sell. The most significant I put in museum's.
This site is the best on the web and I appreciate any and all information. I am more than glad to help those who need assistance in the fields I am proficient in.

My point explained why no British Detectorist have any interest in study buttons, hence the lack of detailed books & references on the net.
