✅ SOLVED Need ID help with 2 items

Would appreciate some help IDing these 2 items. This reminds me of some type of buckle. The material is not magnetic. I guess it could be lead but I didn't think lead would deteriorate and flake like that. I think the letters are DAK or maybe OAK.





I thought I would be able to google and figure this out easily, but I couldn't come up with anything. When I shake it, I can tell there is something inside. Sounds like small rocks or something. It reminds me of a lipstick case but smaller. The name on the side is Don Juan and it looks to have a profile of Don Juan. On the top it reads "Don Juan Co Inc MFR Raspberry 7 Made in USA" Possibly some sort of makeup case?

Don Juan was a cosmetic company as early as the late 1940s and operated as Don Juan Co. and Don Juan Inc. Here is a link to a labor lawsuit document that names the company in several labor rule violations.
