Need helping identifying my rock

I found this rock while I was walking along the creek yesterday. I had plans to take it to my local museum but when I brought an indian hammer in they couldn't tell me much and you could tell they didn't have a clue. Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thank!

I really can't tell what kind of rock it is but it sure has had some serious tooling. It appears that it was made to fit with another (probably tooled) rock possibly a statue made of several pieces or some religious type symbol. You will probably want to go back and look for the other pieces to the puzzle.

That would be a sandstone concretion. Sorry Indians didn't make it nature did.
