Need help

I bought this tea pot at an estate sale. I do not know if it is Japanese or not. It doesn't have any markings on it other than what is on front. The owner of the house was in Japan during WW 2. There was other Japanese items at the sale also. Please help! Thank you!

No there isn't. It is made out of clay and I was told today at a antique shop that it is Japanese.
