✅ SOLVED Need help with Wooden Mask

I came across this mask years ago from a relative that moved here to Missouri from California. He passed on and thats how I ended up with it. I do know he collected art from all over the world. It is fully carved from wood. It is about 12 inches tall and 7 inches wide. There are no markings that I can tell that indicate any background.

It looks as though the snake has rattles, so that might narrow down the places it could be from.

Photo attached is a devil with snake mask made in Mexico, similar motif.

Awesome, the snake does look similar on the ebay post. My hopes is to get a date or some sort but it may be a needle in a haystack.

looking around maybe your mask is from the 1970s, and maybe from
the Oaxacan region of Mexico.
you would need to search more info on what regions in mex made
wooden masks. here is one from
