It looks as though the snake has rattles, so that might narrow down the places it could be from.

Awesome, the snake does look similar on the ebay post. My hopes is to get a date or some sort but it may be a needle in a haystack.

looking around maybe your mask is from the 1970s, and maybe from
the Oaxacan region of Mexico.
you would need to search more info on what regions in mex made
wooden masks. here is one from
