I don't know if anyone here is knowledgeable in pipes but these seemed like the best place. One is a Brigham system out of Toronto Canada and the other Vottis Select out of upstate New York. That is all I know about both but repeated searched don't help me find any additional info about these particular pipes. I'm curious as to when they're from, value or any other particular information. Thanks.

BOTH ARE "BRAIR" WOOD PIPES * -- MODERN LOOKING -- ONE WAS MADE WITH ALGERIAN AREA YEILDED "BRAIR WOOD"--BRAIR WOOD IS THE COMMON WOOD USED FOR WOOD PIPES

THE "SYSTEM" MOST LIKELY REFERS TO THE FORM OF SMOKE (TAR) TRAP SYSTEM USED IN THE PIPE --THERE ARE SEVERAL DIFFERANT METHODS OF TRAPPING THE TARS FROM THE TOBBACO SMOKE

BRIGHAM "STAR" PIPE IS ITALIAN MADE PRE 2001 DATE-- MOST LIKELY MED BRAIR USED. (IMPORTED FROM ITALY TO CANADA) --IN 2001 THEY CHANGED FROM A STAR TO A LEAF , YOUR'S IS 2001 OR EARLIER

VOTTIS DIED OUT IN MID 70'S --SO THE PIPE MUST PRE DATE THAT ERA.

I WAS A PIPE & CIGAR SMOKER FOR MANY YEARS FROM AGE 13 TO 47 WHEN I QUIT DUE TO COPD in 2007 * -- so i do have a leg up on this subject --iding pipes --smoking -- can't believe I was so stupid now that I look back upon it --ruined my health like a idiot -- how dumb was I?

Thanks for the help guys. My mother gave me these pipes, one she found in her cellar and the other at a yard sale. I'm not much of a smoker, only when the mood strikes me a few times a year but I like them anyway and even more so knowing more about them.

Hello everyone! New here, first post. I would say that the pipes are worth roughly $30 to $45 dollars each. Brigham pipes use a special maple wood filter, Vottis was a very nice smoke store in New York that is now sadly closed.
