I found this today at the site of an old church that has been in continuous use from 1807 until the present. For the last 40 years attendance only includes about a dozen of the faithful. The grounds have yielded many coins dating from 1842 until the present, but this is the first token I've found here. The site also has given up a lot of
musket balls. Shotgun weddings no doubt. lol Any information on date would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ron

It's a c. 1910-20's jackpot token made for use in the "Tourist" single-reel, countertop slot machine manufactured by the Caille Bros. Co. of Detroit, Michigan. The word Trade was intended to imply that the token could only be exchanged for merchandise (candy, cigars, etc.) or used in the machine, and not exchanged for cash. (Yeah, right!)

Thanks for the info PBK. Slot Machines!!!!! Now I am really concerned about what went on at these Methodist Camp Meetings. The gambling probably explains the plethora of musket balls that I have found, also. Now I expect to find one of the knives that was issued at the door to those that came without one. lol
