I would guess that the round items are part of a door knob...just guessing and I'm looking

Pretty sure kuger is right about it being a butt cap. Could have been a flintlock or early percussion. Being plain like that could mean either it came from a military gun, or was just an inexpensive civilian gun. Go back and dig the iron signals where you found it, more of the gun might turn up!

I had thought about that when I seen them posted before but decided against that ID ( i think because of size and 2 holes)but now that i go back and look at the others they are different so maybe the buttcap ID is correct for this one.

i think door knob also, looking at the door knobs in the mansion at the plantation they are similar, and are two piece.

any clues about the rectangle piece with the dove?
