I found this on a hunt in downtown Phoenix, Az. and have no idea what it represents. It is about the size of a silver dollar and brass with the letters R P A Co # 131. Any ideas? the area it was found in has given up coins and other items from the 30's and 40's. Thank you in advance. IMG_0003.JPG

There's an R.P.A. auction house there.
And Robotic Process Automation is listed by multiple outfits. Did not note a Co. attached to any on a brief search...

I think the tag predates robotic process company. It was in really bad shape when dug and it was recovered in a vacant lot in an old Hispanic section of Phoenix.

I'm lost then.
How deep it was in context to your recovery dates...It would have been shallower if it was this firms surveying person or crew in the 1970's or later. I could guess they might have had tags on equipment...

An equipment tag for R.P.A. Company.

Maybe one from this page? R P A Company phoenix az

I checked but I am not sure that is it. Robotic Process Automation seems a little more modern. As I said before this was in rough shape when found in an old vacant lot in an old Hispanic part of Phoenix.

These lots have been bulldozed, so it could have been at a shallow depth or deeper at one time. It could be from an later year, and may have been an equipment tag. I'm open to any suggestions. Thank you.

It is an equipment tag. You may have to research the local business records of the surrounding areas to determine where it is from. It may have also been a transplant brought in with loads of fill dirt. It may have been from the excavating company that did the ground work... it may be from who knows where. Y0ou may never know!

Thanks for you input Creskol. I have done a lot of research and come up with a blank. It may not be possible to come up with a company. As someone else said, there are R P A's but not with a Co. in it.
