I just received my new DFX-300 and have been having trouble keeping the backlight on the screen turned on. I go through the menu options and I turn the backlight on, but as soon as I exit out and start a program, the backlight goes off.

Is there anyway while you're detecting to just turn the backlight on and off as desired or do you have to create a program with the backlight on and be forced to keep the backlight on the whole time???

Thanks

Pull in the trigger and press enter. This will take you directly to the backlight setting. Press the up arrow and the light will come on. As long as that is the last setting you adjust, simply pressing the down or up arrow will take you right back to that setting. If you make other menu changes then you will have to repeat the process of pulling in the trigger and pressing the enter button.
