Detector(s) used
Excalibur II 1000, Xterra-70 x3, Garret ace 250,
I went to visit my Dad this week and he showed me these two old
coins he picked up a a flea market. I managed to identify the one
on the right as a large cent between 1843 and 1857, but have not
been able to figure out the J.N.W. counterstamp.
I have not been able to figure out the one on the left. The only
good mark left on it is the bow at the top of the reverse. I am
assuming this should be at the bottom and the coin is upside down
in the pic.
Thank you for looking and your help.
Joe

The one on the left seems to have the double headed eagle. so I guess its Prussian or there abouts.
