To me these look like resin was put on back for extra strength and to keep from cracking

Swiss or German I think it looks like he has Lederhosen suspenders on and the hat.Also his pipe looks German or Swiss.IMO

Google wooden resin plaque signed ADM and it comes up with Heidleberg plates signed ADM.Just like those in Osage's post.

to me it looks like modern wood / resin copy ...of a wood carving of a Germanic type jagermiestar (hunt master) with his double barreled shotgun or a "double" rifle.. most likely a American tourist or service member took home ...german home decor wall plates made in heildleburg ..
