Mine was mid 1800's. Looks exactly like it! Nice find. jgas

This buckle was made from 1862 up into the 1930's in France. The all brass types are older. Its a pants buckle. Unfortunately our database on these buckles had to be deleted because of a rude member that refused to follow some simple rules. I saved some pics. SOLIDE is solid in French.
