Need help with ID

Was out metal detecting this evening when I found this while digging a hole in the woods. It is non-mettalic, 9/16 of an inch across, has small nicks in it, not perfectly round and has a tannish color. I'm not sure of the weight yet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...
