Need help with crest mark on copper

This mark is faded but looks like a crest of some sort.......the only two letters I can make out under are J H I think the rest are faded out

I looked but didn't find any place that listed maker's marks for middle-eastern ewers. There must be thousands of makers...

Hi,

I think I see a crowned Double Eagle.

Thats indicative of Russia, most likley Tula.

Scrolldown a little here:

And its of course pre 1918.

Congrats jtw, cool find! We don't often stop to think that the USSR stretched from western Europe all the way to the Pacific. Lots of cultures in that vast territory.
Looks kind of contemporary though, price tag over hallmark looks more like marketed through international outlet(s).

Too much an honour.

I also first thought: Oriental coffee mug and that the double eagle would be the Austrian one (Balkans / muslim population). But hey, google pic search knew better, its the Russian one. Well as some other said above Russia stretches also far out in the south and east.
