Need help with colonial coin ID

Found this small, thin copper yesterday at a site that dates back as far as the mid-to-late 1600s. It's about the size of a dime, and has what appears to be an "H" at the 9 and 10 o'clock positions on the reverse side of the coin. It also has stippling around the perimeter of the obverse. Can't make out much else, but thought someone might recognize it from these limited clues. You can click on the thumbnails to enlarge for greater detail. Thanks.

Someone on another forum ID'd this as a 17th century half penny trade token so consider this mystery solved.
