Hi all, I recently found this coin in a corn field with my Omega 8000. Yet cant seem to figure out what it is? I've found numerous large and it's thinner and a tad bit smaller in diameter. I really appreciate your time helping me.-Scott 3284.JPG3285.JPG

That's a tough one. Maybe a New Jersey copper? Just a wild guess on my part.

I'd guess a right facing bust CT. The letters on the right side in pic one is likely the best chance you have at figuring it out.

I'm leaning toward CT because I can definitely make out a E and an N...surly right facing. Thank you both very much for your time

I also am pretty sure I see a shadowy right facing bust BUT....the shape of the eyes and nose makes it appear to me to be a NY Machin Mill type halfpenny
