My mom received an antique Chinese vase from a dealer over 35 years ago. My sister and I now have it and have been trying to figure out where it came from, how old it is, what the writing is on the bottom, etc and we have come up with nothing. The vase is about 8" high. The colours are green, orange, red, white, beige and brown. We took it to Chinatown in Calgary and nobody was able to read it, to the Chinese Cultural Center, where a lady gave us heck for not having it wrapped better and put in a special box, but nobody there was able to read it. We would really like to know what language is on the bottom, what it says, what the story on the vase is, how old the vase is, etc.
