I have a heavy brass plate with the letters HB MARS on it and have no clue what it was for. It also has a number 3 on it and what appears to be a serial number. The quarter is for size reference and the shape of it is what you see. It appears to have holes for attaching to something. Any help is appreciated as I tried to do an internet search and came up with nothing. Also the small charm thing has 1 Gr. on it. I assume it is for weighing something. Maybe part of a set of weights? These were found yesterday on a hunt along with 70 plus clad and 6 Wheat pennies. Thank you in advance. IMG_0001 (1).webpIMG_0002.webp

Looks like the bottom of a golf club to me

Some history:The "H" in HB stood for John "Bud" Hillerich. He was most famous for creating the name and product: Louisville Slugger baseball bat. The "B" represents Frank Bradsby, a salesman, who became a partner in 1916 and the company's name changed to Hillerich and Bradsby. By 1923, H&B was selling more bats than any other bat maker in the country, and legends like Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig were all using them.
Another branch of the company was called Powerbilt Golf and the ID plate shown is from a Powerbilt 3-wood.
