need help with 8" coil cover

I have a Fisher CZ-6 inch spider coil. I don't want the spider coil cover. Im look for 1235 coil cover but just find out they stop making it.i c Minelab has an 8" coil r they flat or they moon shape. Does any body no and well fit on. because im a big time scubberand i wear them out fast.

If you can't find a cover why not coat the bottom and sides of the coil with marine epoxy. This lasts years and if it wears out you apply more. Don't do this to new coils as it voids the warranty of the coil. An advantage to the epoxy is black sand doesn't get inside the cover so it needs to be cleaned out all the time.

Here's an original idea. Stop destroying your coils by dragging them over an abrasive surface. Forget the coil cover and just hold your coil, like it was designed to be used, 1" above the abrasive serface. Frank
