HAVE SEVERAL QUESTIONS. 1) WHERE (sTATE) WERE THE PHOTOS TAKEN? 2) wHEN WERE THEY TAKEN? 3) ARE THEY ON PRIVATE, STATE OR FEDERAL LAND? 4) cAN YOU TAKE CLOSE-UPS OF THEM?
1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard Thepomps! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). You might also consider adding your state (or country) to your displayed profile (SETTINGS -> EDIT PROFILE) - members may have more success helping you (your location may help, etc.)...
2nd - I moved ya from TODAY'S FINDS! over to WHAT IS IT? for more exposure.
Goodmorning everyone! it’s on private property, we need to get some info about how to separate the metals and minerals and info on where to sell the metals and minerals. I live in Texas the property (land)is located in northern Mexico..

. Thanks for the time to reply.
The second photo also looks like it could be pyrite, but could also be gold or some other mineral.
You can do a test to get a better idea, use a sharp pointed instrument, a knife, a strong sewing needle, etc., carefully try pushing the the point into the material, if the material breaks, chips, or shatters into pieces it's most likely pyrite but could be another mineral but it's not gold, if the material indents, bends, or just deforms, it could very likely be gold and you need to take it somewhere for further testing, a jeweler would be able to test it for being gold.
