I found the following items while detecting an area near a Civial War battlefield. So far we have found multiple musket balls and three ringers. I found the bullet (photo below) less than 100 feet from a three ringer. I was wondering if it was modern or from the CW time period. It appears to have been fired. The other two round disc I took photo's of the front and back. One looks possibly like a button the other one has very thin metal in the middle. I dont know what they are made from. Thanks for any help you may provide.

Judging from the oxidation on the items i'd say they are old enough to be CW related. Is the second item also lead? It looks like it is. If so maybe it is a button fashioned from a bullet.

Thanks, I do believe the second item is made from lead.

Your top item is a modern hunting bullet called a Maxi-ball, 1970s to present time.

The second item looks like an undergarment or underwear button.

the bottom piece looks like the lead that covered the head on an old roofing nail. The lead was to flatten and seal the area around the nail hole.
