I’ll go out on a limb. It’s size and lack of detail makes me think it was not made at a US mint. Someone will have a better answer, I hope.

Agree, looks like counterfeit to me!
 

It looks like a dryer coin to me.
 

Ok need help in figuring out my mystery item it was at one time a 1960s dime not silver that much I know but I don't know what happened to this dime to make it what it is any thoughts.
Has anyone else come accross one of these dimes.

Someone was bored and spooned an old dime. Yes, boys and girls, I just described an actual thing where one uses a tool, such as a spoon to tap the rim of a coin such that it becomes smaller in diameter with raised edges. I learned how to do this many decades ago, and typically find a dozed or do every year that someone else played with.
