I found this pin a few years back and still haven't been able to find out its age or value it's maker appears to be H.C . Ostrem I appreciate any help

it has a modern locking safety clasp which would date it after 1930

Plymouthian, I think you are correct on the H. C. Ostrem (Drammen, Norway) ID on the maker. On Line, I found a silver spoon he made in July, 1916. So your brooch may date to that Victorian era. Have you tested it for sterling? Are there markings under the replaced bar pin? He did alot of 850 silver. Sub

I know it's silver but haven't checked if it's. 925 or 850
