Need help on ID from trash pit dig

Found this digging a trash pit from a 1820's site it was eyeballed at about 14 inches down or so. Any ideas on this?

The one appears to be a OD nickel. The bigger piece strikes me as musical in nature, possibly a decoration off of a piano or such? That may just be because it appears as a stylized harp. Anyway, I'd say it is decorative in nature rather than functional.
