Need help on age of skeleton key

I found this key near an old house site in southeast MA. Key was found about 8-10 inches down. I'm trying to determine how old the key is. Any help is appreciated.

Is it solid or hollow? Probably 1800's.

The end is hollow about half the length of the key.
