Need help on a token ID

This is a token I found the other day at the site of an old school. I believe it to be tin or aluminum more likely aluminum. It is bigger than a Qtr for size reference. Probably will never get a positive ID without any geographical info on it but thought someone out there has found one like or close to and gleaned some info on a period it may have come from. I was thinking prohibition era? Thanks for any help Chris

Cleaned up nicely and a neat token. Found in Southern Idaho?

I just checked with the author of the new (this year) book on Chinese-American tokens from the Pacific Coast and he translated the characters on the obverse as "One / Tenth / Dollar". I was hoping it would give some indication as to the issuer

He agreed that it was probably put into use shortly after Prohibition when saloons had to turn to selling just soft drinks.
