Dug this today in an area that I have dug Civil War era stuff. I have no idea and appears there was some writing on it, but has worn Quarter added for scale. off.

Well shoot, guess I tell everyone it's a belt strap ender. lol Kinda does look like one of them things now that you say it. I keep it up a little longer just in case. Thanks for the help as I had no clue.
