Looks kind of like this old Spanish/Mexican church bell:

ANQ 1817 large ornate Mexico MEJICO bronze mission Catholic Church bell | #1912272691

This old bell is in very nice condition dated 1817. It measures 8 in diameter. I was told this bell was off of an old Catholic Church.

Agreed what is the provenance?
It looks cheaply cast & modern to me (might be wrong, just a gut feeling)

Just a thought,but would the spelling "Mejico" for I assume Mexico,have any clue to the bells origin or date?
