Here are photos of finds from my search yesterday on private land in Gettysburg. Can anyone help me with this keystone item? On the rear there is a round stem and it looks like maybe it would fit in a button hole.

Also, any info on the flat button?

Looks to be from the PA 9th Inf Alpha company post CW. The Crossed rifles did not come into use as the symbol of the Infantry till the late 1800's.
There was the 9th PA volunteers (Pittsburgh Rifles) was at Gettysburg. Looks like WWI or WWII era. Still a cool find. Nice Kepi buckle keep looking they got to be some nice stuff around.
