Need help ID'ing this possible Native American artifact
I found this approx. 3 years ago in a pile of river rock that was laid around the perimeter of my house. Not sure where the rock was retrieved but I thought this piece was interesting looking. Sorry for the not-so clear pictures. I have it stored away in a box due to moving so I can't get another pic of it right now. Its approx. 4 inches in length. What caught my eye was that it had sort of a flat bottom to it and a distinct groove that goes all the away around it as you can see. I tried to do as much research as I could do but found little that looked similar. I thought it could have been a bird stone but definitely not polished enough. Or maybe its nothing but a rock.
