Need help IDing this lock

Found this lock in a historic 1800's area. It says Slaymaker I think? on the top front some is rubbed off. Under that it has ...TLESS I was guessing rustless?

On the back it has Made in USA. Any ideas on company name and age?

Yep Slaymaker pot metal rivetted together lock that used a single blade double sided warded key. Go to Ebay and type in Slaymaker.
