Need help IDing a Navy button

Found this button in an old neighborhood here in Spokane. Need help with possible age and history. Back says Waterbury Button Company and 3 stars.

It would date after 1941, when a U.S.Navy regulation switched the head to face to it's right (to left side of button). The backmark was used until 1965, so somewhere in that range is, I believe, as close as you could date it.

Thanks, probably from WWII when the Navy base at Fargut was open.

Sorry. but I must post a correction to the second half of my good friend Nhbenz's answer. According to the Waterbury Button website, that buttonmaker changed its name from Waterbury Button Company to Waterbury Companies (plural) in 1943, with the backmark therefore changing from CO. to CO'S. So this US Navy button dates strictly from 1941 to 1943.
