Need Help Iding a few buttons I found

Found these 2 buttons yesterday and am new to this whole metal detecting hobby (Very Addicting I must say) Any ideas to what they are from and age wise. Thanks for the replies.

The big one has a eagle and anchor below it with stars around the rim (i'm guessing a coast guard or Navy button). Also any tips on how to clean them up.

I served 10 years in the USMC and would have never guessed that because it did not have the globe but after looking at the other Marine buttons in that link it was dead on. WW1 officers button is what the 1 post said on the back of the button it has a star then "N.S. MEYE" then the "New York" missing a few letters in between the writing because of the corrosion hopefully I can get that cleaned up.

"N.S. Meyers" is what the button likely reads on the back.
