Found this at a old tavern site -rev war era anyone know what it was it is broken at the end of it (non pointed end ) its broken on a angle not straight down

I found this at a nearby ft site that was excavated and relics on display I know this place was owned by both a capt and after his death a sgt in the cont army and troops camped nearby I found this and it looks very similiar. It's broken on a angle on the non Point side I was wondering if it could have been one of these

Is it cast iron? It looks more like a piece of broken cast iron plate than a blade.

It's ironthird photo shows where it broke off from something top photo shows blade part other photo shows the top of it thickness
